The choice was not to be a parent. I live with that choice everyday.

Except 7 years ago that choice arose again and I took a different path.

I became a mother.

Today is Mother’s day here. My little one is the love of my life. His smile can do the most amazing things on the darkest of days. There is nothing more beautiful than seeing a look of joy on his face. A hug from him can make my day and the random “I love you’s” make my heart melt. I got a kiss this morning and a cold piece of pizza and I totally awwed.

He rocks.

So a reminder.

Tell your mum you love her today, give her a hug.

It’s the little things that count ;)
