Weird arty films are my faves. They do something that, although I may not recognise it at the time, impacts me for a long time; they make me think.

Dee beat me to The Cook, The Thief, His Wife and Her Lover so the other arty film that has stayed with me for a very long time is Paris Texas. In looking this up on the interwebz I didn't quite realise it was as well known as it seems to be. All I knew was it has haunted me forever.
