Most people who read this blog know where I stand as far as affiliating with a company goes. They also know that I’m not keen on inundating my blog with reviews to get free toys. I write reviews because I endorse a specific toy/book/implement that I actually LIKE or I tell you if it’s shit. Simple huh?

I don’t work with Eden Fantasys to link whore. I don’t give a fuck about that. Most of my reviews live on their site and I really don’t give a shit if people find me from there. So there’s a big shitstorm over a user being banned. More users have been put on a holiday until things calm down. Now there’s bitching on linking shit.

Here’s where I am at and personally I don’t give a rats ass if it makes me unpopular. I don’t however appreciate bloggers out there who are bullying other bloggers into taking a side nor calling them unethical for continuing to deal with EF.

Grab a cup of concrete and harden the fuck up.

Quit the drama. Quit the bitching and move along if it doesn’t do it for you.

I will continue to do what I am doing now. Which is:

Enjoying writing because on a good day I am good at it.

Getting an opportunity to try out toys that are not available here in NZ and share knowledge and have access to enable someone else to have a sex positive experience.

Being honest in a review of a product and endorsing it or telling you it’s a rip off or it doesn’t make my cunt do a happy dance.

Making some awesome friends and having a laugh, exchanging stories and finding some uber cool bloggers out there.

What I won’t do is:

Be made to feel guilty for enjoying what I have been doing for the past year.

Be bullied or called unethical from a random lynch mob in the blogging community. Shame on you.

If you want to work with a company online cool that is your personal choice and decision to make and no one else’s business. . If you are removed for being an asstard cool, you can have a dunce cap for being dumb.

Does it affect me? No not really. If you drop me off your blog list do I really care? No because I don’t blog, review or make friends online because I want links to my blog. I don’t give a flying fuck if I do or don’t get links off Eden Fantasys. I don’t give a flying fuck if you link to me because you think this blog will get you links, I’d hope that you had more brains than to think that is a compliment because it’s not.Infact it annoys me because it’s false and money/consumer orientated.

A compliment is finding a writer that actually reads what I write and understands what I am writing and why.I have morals and ethics and I am not one of those people that jumps the gun and runs amok shitting on a company that hasn’t actually done anything to me. The word ‘sheep’ comes to mind. I am in no way insulting those that have had issues with a company in the past. Those were and are real issues. But for all those ‘sheep’ out there? WTF are you doing? Respect others and realise they can bloody well make their own minds up without you breathing down their necks. Pathetic behaviour.

Oh and btw. Ripping off a companys logo design and using it as your own and distributing it … it’s called copyright theft and yes as a designer I find it highly unethical.And I CAN say that without any shame if it was my work you’d be finding yourself with a notice of removal and following legal action. I should know I am currently sat here writing a thesis on design ethics.

The funniest thing is you are all up in arms about it and ranting all over the interwebz giving the company loads of publicity. Clever. Lol.

P.P.S I’m not being a bitch, I was banned a while ago from a well used site by sex bloggers with no valid explanation just an email telling me my account had been banned. Still no explanation forthwith. I dealt with it, I wrote one post, end of story. Does it bother me much now? Nup. See my point …. it’s only an escalting drama and witchunt if you have willing participants. I don’t expect anymore to start boycotting the site because of my one bad experience. A few others had had unpleasant dealings with the same site also. Shit happens. Deal with it and move along.
