Choices. Life is full of them.
What path you decide to take at any given moment in time is a choice.
Sometimes those choices are anything but good ones and along the way you discover the choices you made were the wrong ones. Sometimes some of us have to learn the hard way. Sometimes we don’t stop to take a breath. Sometimes we sit back and take the time to think about the choices we make but ultimately we all learn. Sometimes one might spend their whole life making the wrong choices and wonder why they have spent a lifetime crying about it.
Sometimes one needs to sit back and think long and hard about why they keep making the wrong choices.
Either way eventually each and every choice you make in life has a consequence.
Stop. Listen. It’s in the quiet spaces my mind settles and I see.
I see what has substance and heart.
And I make a choice.
It’s taken me half a lifetime to learn that lesson.

All so very true. As for me, I have many regrets in my life, but I have tried to learn from all of them and to also ‘let go and move forward’. And I am still learning those lessons…daily at times.

This hit the nail right on the head for me after having a rough morning over over analyzing…
We do need to take what we can from every experience and at least use it as a lesson.

As long as you keep learning, right? And sometimes, time gives perspective to that learning (speaking from all my loft years, lol!)…and we discover that we could not have become who we are now, without all the choices we made to drive us to this place. Hope that whatever is hurting will pass through and past you…bringing you back to a happier place. It’s not aways about the happy place as we ( I typo’d that as “ewe”, gawd, if there is anyone less sheep-like it would have to be you! the van imp!!!) make this journey, but it’s a nice to be on occasion!!
