desire to inflict pain
veracity in words
contradiction
the need to feel pain
desire to hurt
at the core of the soul
mind in turmoil
disquiet
eyes white with fear
emotion in conflict
a sense of unease
deep within the recesses of the mind
sighing deeply
with teeth
sensation dispates
dark realms of desire
pain finds its place
she sobs
the demons released

I love consise poetry – i was taught that you should remove every sylable that isn’t absolutely necessary. Nice way to present inner conflict, in a way I can readily identify with. Thank you.

I love the pic, first. It’s….yeah.
And that first part I really GET. That need to hurt with words and hold onto the hurt coming back at me for a bit.

@Lilly, Yep even writing it was an interesting process, forming emotions into words and the picture just fit with the poem x
