I’m pooped, tired, soggy brain.
The little one had a dance at school tonight so I went along and it was so damn cute and hillarious watching a bunch of five year olds dancing together and trying to be co-ordinated it had most of the parents going “awwww” and lotsa laughs. I even got dragged up to do a bloody chicken dance. Iz teh silly mummy. And theeeen, just as I am ready to crawl into bed I think hmm i will just go check on the little one. I did only to find he’d vomited all over himself and the bed.
An hour later I am now curled up in bed unwinding and sat on the laptop.
So no fantastical brain smashing post today, instead I bring you chocolate…. (it’s PMS week … go figure).
My evil sister-in-law sent me this via email today … how utterly mean to tempt me with a recipe such as this! I’m too fucked to try it tonight but guess what I’ll be doing tomorrow
All you need is a microwave and a mug and you are set! Oh and the ingredients of course
5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE
4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
A small splash of vanilla extract
1 large coffee mug (MicroSafe)
Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
Pour in the milk and oil and mix well.
Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again.
Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts.
The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don’t be alarmed!
Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.
EAT ! (this can serve 2 if you want to feel slightly more virtuous).
And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world?
Because now we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the day or night!

You can thank me after you have had a chocolate feeding frenzy *insert evil grin here*
And just because I am a complete chocolate freak there’s another recipe here on Rayne’s Blog that is just so damn deliciously evil I had to share it with you all.

The chocolate chips are a definite must – ‘optional’? Pfffft.
And yes, the ice-cream on the side tastes just dandy too. I was addicted to this cake a while back and was eating it…umm…almost everyday. Yes, I know. I’m a bad, bad slave

Ooh I’m gonna play with this recipe. Sounds like it needs dark chocolate syrup and espresso powder. Hmmm. Thanks. No, really. Thanks. *grin*
