Well update on the computer disaster … I am up and running and functional again but I have lost a ton of work in the process. Normally I make backups every two months and I had reminded myself to do so but was holding off till we find a new house. Well too late. As it stands I have three jobs I was in the middle of that I have to completely redo and I have put my clients off till Monday to give myself time to get sorted. Yesterday I uploaded and installed 1000 fonts, and spent most of the day sorting my main programs and adding plugins and shit. Today has been spent downloading other programs I need for work and sorting and finding as many links and bookmarks as I can remember lol.

I was dead on my feet yesterday as I’d had very little sleep, a combination of stress and trying to frantically get this beast of mine functional again. Molten and I kept looking at each other yesterday and telling each other “You look like I feel”. Velvet told us both to go bed, both pouting yet we went and I managed a 10 hour sleep hehe. I am feeling a little more energized today but still need to catch up on sleep. I managed to get out of going to my brother’s fiance’s hens night tomorrow, can’t be assed, I don’t know her that well and none of her friends and I have to come home to a child in the morning so bugger that. With the comp issues it kinda gave me a decent excuse not to go. My sister isn’t going either hehe so we both joked and said “I guess I’ll see ya at the wedding”, my reply, “Sweet we can be the two drunkards in the back of the church”.

Oh and before I forget Tristan who writes the My quiet control blog has a forum. I have linked it in my blogroll too It’s a pretty cool spot to hang out and chat with no pita’s (pains in the ass’s) … there’s a few that have joined and I look forward to it growing. Like social groups offline I have a wee group of people I like to try and keep in touch with. Alot of the time we have private chats off the blogs, sharing experiences is something that helps me grow and process my own things and sometimes I get to help others too. So go be nosey, some of it isn’t available to view as a non member and it’s only in it’s baby stages but it will grow I am sure. Go look and even better join and have a chat and say hello.

Anyways there may not be much writing from me for a couple days as I have a bit to get through on this comp still and it’s time consuming so if you don’t see nothing don’t panic I’m just being an uber geek x

Eclipse (Book 3)

I did it, I finally got pissed off with trying to find drivers for the 64 bit that I actually killed it in the process, so for a few hours last night and this morning I have been flucking about trying to get my comp up and running again. The good news is I reverted back to a standard 32 bit OS system so now no more frigging driver issues … bad news I lost three months worth of stock resources and work so I am scrambling about trying to salvage what I can today and tomorrow. Nawt happy but meh, it’s done. At least now I have software and equipment that will work again as none of them were compatible with my beast. It’s still a beast and I probably won’t notice very little decrease in speed. But all the same I am grumpy, tired and stressed and peed off at myself. So maybe later you may get an HNT cause I do have pics … wish me luck I still have to fix the driver s for the sound … fucking Microsoft suck.

I’m not in a writing mood today I’m hormonal so dangerous to provoke. I’m doing the earphones and music thing, zoning out so to speak. Music is good for my fucked up moods. One of my all time favourite bands is the Smashing Pumpkins, hell my dog was named Smash because of it. I love this song it’s a favie.
