Media Mindfucks

I don’t like TV I rarely watch it but one program I absolutely love to follow is LOST. For a mindfucking series it’s pretty damn good. I love puzzles. Riddles. And this program has plenty of them and some pretty out there concepts too. And the best part … I can catch up on my comp I don’t have to actually watch the damn TV lol. So in between packing and cleaning I’ve had the comp running today I spent this morning catching up on a few episodes from series 4 (gotta love the net & my 22″ screen hehe) … and woop it starts next week here. This season looks pretty damn cool. It’s nice to be able to relax a little in the middle of all this crazy week.

The friend that was suppossed to be helping me move stuff yesterday let me down, and then this morning his partner rang and said he could do it tonight (she wasn’t impressed with his dicking me around either)… problem being I promised work tonight so I can’t let my clients down as my workload is tight as it is over the next two weeks I can’t afford to fuck about.

To top it off the shit turns up here this afternoon looking all glassy eyed and with a beer in his hand asking me if I still wanted to do a trip. After living with an alcoholic father I really gets the shits with drunk driving so I politely declined after thinking …. “What a fucking idiot to think I would get in a vehicle piled high with furniture and you behind the wheel” .

Pure fucking madness.

So at the moment the fluffies are helping me try and organise a truck or trailer to get myself outta here on the Thursday next week. I get pissed off when I make suppossed solid plans and check and recheck things are sorted only to be let down. Meanwhile the packing and cleaning continues, the little one is driving me a wee bit bonkers at the moment as hes getting bored and impatient for the move.

Mummy needs a nice wine lol.

Good luck with that move! I know what it feels like to have someone fail you at that crucial moving moment. I love shows with mystery too. I guess that’s why most of the shows I watch are centered around solving a crime or a medical mystery :)
