Souls HNT # 12

I celebrate Samhain sometimes known to other people as Halloween. I follow the Northern Hemisphere
Sabbats, it’s my thing,it’s an ancestral thing tomorrow is a quiet day for me, a nice meal, a wine, photos will be added to the altar, candles lit, a quiet few words said to a few old friends, and a banishing of the unwanted to make way for the new.That’s what it’s about for me.

As I went out walking this fall afternoon,
I heard a whisper whispering.
I heard a whisper whispering,
Upon this fine fall day…

I heard this whisper and I wondered,
I heard this laugh and then I knew.
The time is getting near my friends,
The time that I hold dear my friends,
The veil is getting thin my friends,
And strange things will pass through.

I have a necklace with a similar pendant attached to it. My mom got it for me last year or earlier this year as a just because gift. She got my sister a cross at the same time but couldn’t get me a cross so she found something that worked for me.
