As well as blogging, surfing the net, watching far too many online movies and youtube video’s I work. I work erractic hours, such is the way of what I deal with, worldwide clients mean never ending emails. I’m not complaining, I work hard. I have two screens which means I can multitask a hell of alot better than with one screen. My IM is normally offline or permanently on away because I am normally sat here doing something like writing or catching up with emails and friends, blogging, or working.

I design things for the web, a little coding although design is my strong point. I do a little work for print, a perk of working in the industry for a number of years means I know how to set files up correctly for print, always handy because I get the design work and the concept work. I like being creative, it’s like a natural burst of fuck knows what but it fuels one. I also love techy stuff in regards to web design and programs like photoshop and such. So I’m going to share some of the sites that I find invaluable on occassion for many reasons. Those who design their own blogs, host their own sites and like tweaking code and having things at your fingertips…

GET FIREFOX I have one screen normally preoccupied with everything I need in one browser.

Firefox is a browser, it’s ten times better than shitty, crappy Internet Explorer.I believe mine just upgraded to version 3 a little while back.

It also has add-on’s squeeee … geeks love add on’s. I do just about everything from my browser, including stuff for design work.

It has themes with skins which is also great for a fussy designer who likes a spiffy desktop with gadgets.

If you use twitter get twitterfox … all supported in your browser …

If you use gmailand have more than one account you will love this … gmail manager installed in your browser, a new mail appears, simply click on the pop up and a tabbed page pops up with your gmail account.

Web Developer tools are great, this one is great if you want to tweak css code and you can do it on screen and see the results and save the css code and paste it into your site.

Screengrab saves entire webpages as images.It will save what you can see in the window, the entire page, just a selection, a particular frame… basically it saves webpages as images.

There’s been other things going around here of late like canes, clothespins, candle wax, ass fucking, various other implements being tested on my skin and even caned feet last night … it actually was not nicey nicey … canes are evil and cause the imp to profuse blasphemous words from her mouth. Lots of biting, oh and a dog chain lead drapped around my neck … chain feels nice hehe. As well as a blast of design work, I think about 9 site page designs in the space of two days that has left me very little time to write anything substantial so you get geekness instead. The imp is rather braindead and away on a creative mindbender.
