Yaaaaay … boing boing … squeee

Can ya tell I’m happy huh huh? Today I woke .. quite unamused and sighing because I knew I would spend another day at the comp slogging away trying to get more paid work in … I did, 2 clients paid me, still not overly satisfied because I have been trying to get money together so I can have an enjoyable weekend but … yes there’s always a but… the money wasn’t going to come through in time for the weekend.

Alas it did not seem so until about two hours aho where plans and action have fell into place hehe, I got paid, and then paid again by a client I thought had done a disappearing act on me .. it seems he’s been stressing about losing me as a designer because his clients mucked him around, he’s paid for the work I have done and asked for some more lol … this time he’ll be paying up front lol.

So now I have money to cover the next two months worth of bills and have some fun this weekend but most uberly good and why I am grinning like only a book nerd can, is I just went shopping and bought me some books.

I got “Opening Up” … another book I can add to my kink cupboard. Two more of the Sherrilyn Kenyon Dark Hunter series (25 books to collect, I now have 5 of them lol) and a book I have wanted to read for a long time The Measure of a Man by Sydney Poitier. So sqquueee new books … more to add to the pile I haven’t had time to read yet … my friend just shook her head at me when we caught up for coffee today because I was so excited about new books …. she knows hehe.

So now the best thing is I am financially relieved of stress for a few more weeks which means I can do the work I want to do instead of scrambling for shit work and crap pay. And even better I get a weekend with the fluffies up North
