The Loyal Friend

Smash was my best friend. She was sadly put to sleep in November 2005 at the age of 12 and a half years of age. Her eyes had become cloudy with cataracts, her joints hurt and she couldn’t jump up and sleep in her favourite chair anymore.

She missed swimming at the local river. She had trouble holding her bowels. But she still gave attention to every soul that walked into her home, a cuddle, a lick, even a little growl talking and saying hello in her puppy way, she had made that noise since birth, a little rumble especially kept for friends.

She had patience with young children so happy she ignored the adults and cruised around with the mini ones, playing with them gently, following them about and herding them away from danger.

She gave unconditional love to every person she met but quickly withdrew it if they were not worthy of her love. She protected me with her life never hesitating with a thought for her own safety. She loved nothing more they crawling on your lap and laying her head on your shoulder and giving you her puppy hug. And she always seemed to know when someone needed it.

Every person she met she left an indelible memory etched in their mind of awe and wonder at such a loving dog. She truly was special.

A runt, nobody wanted, nearly dying at the age of three months of the dreaded parvo virus.

She slept under my son’s cot religiously, she sat under his highchair and demolished all the little morsels of food he dropped at her feet, she lay with him on the floor ever keeping her watchful eye on him and not for one moment did I doubt her loyalty.

Rest in peace my most loyal companion, my familiar who sat with me and watched the shadows, it was a beautiful 12 years. I have tears in my eyes as I write this no matter how much time passes she will always remain in my heart as something very special to have a bond with so deep is an amazing privilige.

Why the hell anyone would want to see this breed of dog wiped out is beyond me, why not look at the bastards that don’t deserve to have the privilige of owning an animal.

Brat Braindead

I am a little braindead today so if I start to ramble utter nonsense you know why. Am back from another weekend up in Auckland and been chasing up family and friends today as they all seemed to want a piece of me so am a bit drained and sorely needing some downtime. And again I had a wonderful weekend surrounded by furry cat people. I even have fur on my jacket to prove it! Erotica was awesome and it was spent with the best company ever and I got to see another online friend I have been chatting to for a while so that was great! It was a brief meet but all in all still very cool.

I am also a bad, bad pup … I forgot to take pics before we left and we weren’t allowed camera’s of any sort in the event as it risked being kicked out, by the time we got back all too whacked to care really, wines and dinner, snacks lots of chats and then sleep. I think all up it was about four hours of walking around. I heard “everyone loves a schoolgirl” a couple times, and it was actually disappointing as not many dressed up for the event *insert sad face here”, those that did looked bloody awesome though. Ooo and I got to watch a couple of people being flogged, that was drooly and I got a giggle at all the “ooo’s” and “aaah’s” from the crowd. So people were freaked out haha and some were so curious as to ask, ” how long does it take to get used to that?” … my fellow buddy schoolgirl replies, ” oh about five minutes” … haha.

I got to get a squishy huggle from the lovely Curvaceous Dee again and my hunni …what a hug it was, was lovely to see you again and of course your lovely lady friend *wink* who was escorting you by your beautiful leash attached to the big red collar around your neck x It was almost a mini munch at the sex expo, fetlifers, and fellow kiwi kinksters. So yea I’ll have to dress up again and take some pics and meeeebe use them for HNT pics.

I love dressing up to fun events or with a group of people. Halloween is beginning to loom closer and I used to have a fancy dress get together every year I stopped a little while back but after I came home last year I have been incessantly bugged about it and gave in and decided it was about time I did another one, or should I say everyone decided I was a few months back and I keep being reminded so now I am actually planning it. I wonder how many will go the Harry Potter route … tis too predicatable.

All the travelling and the busy weeks and weekends I have had are tiring and I still have a week of design work to get done so sleepy me is actually going to try finish up for the night, read a little and get her geek ass off to bed *yawn* x will write more when my brain is a little more coherent.

The Creation of Pussy

Photobucket

Seven wise men with knowledge so fine,
created a pussy to their own design.
First was a butcher, with a smart wit,
and using a knife he gave it a slit.
Second was a carpenter, strong and bold,
with a hammer and chisel he gave it a hole.
Third was a tailor, tall and thin,
by using red velvet, he lined it within.
Fourth was a hunter, short and stout,
with a piece of fox fur, he lined it without.
Fifth was a fisherman, nasty as hell,
threw in a fish and gave it a smell.
Sixth was a preacher, whose name was McGee,
he touched it and blessed it, and said it could pee.
Last was a sailor, dirty little runt,
he sucked it and fucked it, and called called it a cunt.

Catch Up

I have been meaning to do a decent post with a thinking point and have been trying to find time to do so. A friend of mine commented that I came back from this weekend the happiest I have been in a long while and it was nice to hear. I am happy. I am in a good place and had the pleasure of spending the most magnificent time with the most open, loving, honest people I have come across in a long time. I love people who are real, who can open up on levels and expose the good and the bad, the raw and the real parts of life.  And most importantly accept me as I am as I do them. It’s so damn refreshing.

I also had a first hand look at a poly family dynamic and wow, you know one thing struck me the most and it was the simple fact that most general one to one relationships don’t have this level of communication. Why is that? It was just beautiful. As with any monogamous relationship, Poly ones need alot of communication, transparency, honesty, openess, but for some reason to me it seems deeper in a Poly dynamic.

For those who don’t really know what Poly is here’s the lowdown from Wikipedia lol …

Polyamory (from Greek ???? [poly, meaning many or several] and Latin amor [literally “love”]) is the desire, practice, or acceptance of having more than one loving, intimate relationship at a time with the full knowledge and consent of everyone involved. Polyamorous perspectives differ from monogamous perspectives, in that they reflect one or more partner’s wish(es) to have further meaningful relationships and to accommodate these alongside their existing relationships.

The term polyamory is sometimes abbreviated to poly, especially as a form of self-description, and is sometimes described as consensual, ethical, or responsible non-monogamy.

I also had the pleasure of meeting more people over the weekend who are poly and I just love the way they all interact. I don’t think I have had that many hugs in the space of two days before hehe. Hugs are always a good thing.

Another thing that stood out was the amazing amount of respect given by so many. A kinky, smutty bunch of fun loving people but no boundaries crossed. All totally consensual respectful, honest souls. The conversations were definitely intriguing.

Stepping out of my shell that I have surrounded myself in and finally interacting with like minded souls has very much given this girl’s wee little world a much needed boost and the best thing is I get more squishy huggles this weekend again!
